Arthur Suydam (pronounced Sā-DĂM) – also known as the Zombie King – is an artist who, with a splash of colour and a stroke of his brush, has the magic to bring Zombies to life as easily as he does Mr. Toad and the cast of The Wind and The Willows.

Arthur lives and breathes art. If he’s not painting or creating comics, he’s composing and performing music. He travels the world sharing his creativity with a warm smile and generous heart. And I have it on good authority that he’s one heck of a tennis player too.

Arthur Suydam will attend Phoenix Comicon MAY 24-27th, 2012

Arthur Suydam, better known as “THE ZOMBIE KING” will be making  a special   guest of  honor appearance at the upcoming Phoenix Comic Con 2012 May  24- 27 at the Phoenix Convention Center 100 N. 3^rd St. Phoenix, AZ.

Arthur Suydam  won the  Spectrum Gold Award, the Film Festival of Sebastian  Lifetime  Achievement Award,  and  more. Arthur Suydam  and  partner Robert Kirkman’s  recent Marvel Zombies  series reportedly  broke   Marvel   trade   sales   records,  prompting  the  current  world   wide  Zombie   craze and  earning the creators status of a comic legends with  leagues of enthusiastic fans around the globe.
Additional  Suydam  recent  hit titles  include,  Zombie Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth,  Batman ,  Wolverine, Raise the Dead,  Avengers, Army of Darkness, Vampirella, Moon Knight and many more!
As a musician, Suydam has been composing and performing for Horror Film soundtracks for  decades  and  a list of the Zombie King’s roster of band-mates  reads like a who’s-who of Rock and Roll, and includes  musicians from Paul McCartney  Wings, Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker, Brian Setzer, The Rolling Stones and Aretha Franklin to name a few. Suydam’s current group , The Gotham Playboys  recorded three albums with Bruce Springsteen and won a Grammy for “The Sessions”.
